Collaborating on the to-do list

After we’ve onboarded our homeowners, then we take special care with the to-do list.  From our many years of experience being a homeowner and working in world-class Fortune 50 companies, we know how important project management is to the success of any project.

Success for the homeowner looks like this:

·         The freedom to focus elsewhere knowing that the home’s to-do list is being competently managed

·         The joy of a home that meets their needs

·         The certainty that their home’s needs can be met within a certain budget and time expectation

We arrive at success through a very collaborative prioritization process that stems from the onboarding.  The onboarding results in a digital home audit document.  As we retrace our steps through the home, we document all the home’s details to ensure that we can create reasonable cost and time expectations for each project.  We don’t expect our clients to be able to prioritize without understanding the cost and time associated with each project.

We send the comprehensive document to the homeowner to capture their feedback.  It can be overwhelming to see all your desires for your space documented like that.  But it can also be very freeing.

Often what we find is that homeowners remember something several weeks after our onboarding.  At that point, they simply communicate the item to us so we can add it to the list. We have a quick chat about where it falls in the priority list, and then the homeowner enjoys that freedom of knowing that their list is being managed.

So let us help you manage your home and its to-do list.  Remember, you’re not alone.  We do this for many other homeowners.  We’ve seen all kinds of situations, from spaces that need organization to spaces that are so spotless we’re sure that no one actually lives there.  Your space and your needs are unique to you.

Let us help you get your home’s needs documented, prioritized, out of your head and into the “done” column.
