What is home management?

Your Home Needs a Chief of Staff

Every home runs on a long list of small decisions. Who fixes the dishwasher? When does the roof get checked? Who has the gate code? In most households, the answers live in multiple places, or one person's head. That person is usually tired.

The person typically running your home is probably very tired :(

Home management is the job of keeping all of it in order. It means a maintenance plan, a trusted vendor list, someone to meet the vendor at the door, and records of what was done. Think of it as a chief of staff for your house. A chief of staff keeps the calendar, the contacts and the follow-ups moving so you can get on with your day.

The bigger the home, the bigger the job. A luxury property may have a pool, a wine room, five HVAC zones, a standby generator, a smart home system and grounds with their own irrigation map. Each one has a service schedule and a specialist. Somebody has to know which of the four thermostats is fibbing.

That is where we come in. We run the list, call the vendors, oversee the work and keep the records. You get your weekends back and a home that runs on purpose.
